About MeritCanvas

AI disclaimer — no admission guarantee
MeritCanvas does not guarantee admission to any program. All AI-generated analysis, school matches, tier classifications (“reach,” “target,” “safety”), essay feedback, and interview coaching are probabilistic estimates based on available data. Admissions decisions are made solely by each institution based on criteria that may not be fully reflected in our data. Do not rely on any output from MeritCanvas as a definitive prediction of your admission outcome.
Pilot / beta status
MeritCanvas is currently in a private pilot. Access is by invitation only. The platform may have bugs, incomplete data, or service interruptions. Features and data may change without notice. We are not liable for decisions made based on information provided during the pilot period.

You agree to use MeritCanvas only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the service to generate content that misrepresents your academic record, experiences, or identity in applications — doing so may constitute application fraud.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform.
- Share your account credentials with others.

Submitting AI-generated text verbatim to programs that prohibit AI assistance may violate their policies — review each program's requirements.

Always verify current requirements directly with each program before applying. We make no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of program data.
